TODAY, I QUIT SMOKING!!!
It all starts today. I have wanted to do this for a while; I've just been procrastinating. I have 2 main reasons I'm doing this.
First, during Christmas I went home to visit my family and my uncle told us he has Emphysema. He smoked for years, and it finally caught up with him. My uncle is my favorite relative, and has always been a wonderful support to me and my family. So, Uncle Gary... this is for YOU!
Second, I am running a marathon in July and I want to have my lungs fully ready for the race. I haven't been in a race for over 3 years, so I really want to get in great shape!
So...... IT ALL STARTS TODAY!!!
Wish me luck (and don't offer me a smoke or a drag)!! Ha!
awesome goal! Hope you are able to quit so you can support your Uncle Gary and run in that marathon with no problems. Good luck, you rock!
